Friday Notes #32 โ€” What happens when pausing

We have to pause to enjoy our surroundings.

Friday Notes #32 โ€” What happens when pausing
My view from the chalet this summer

Listening to birds. Looking at moving and morphing clouds. Feeling the breeze on my face. Looking at squirrels playing together. Hearing kids playing. Observing crawling bugs. Being amazed by the waves forming on the lake surface by sudden wind gusts. Looking through the lakeโ€™s water, peek at the lakeโ€™s bottom. Thinking about life, about the past, about the future. This is what happens to me when I take the time to do nothing, to stop, to pause for a while. Itโ€™s a gift that we should, collectively, give ourselves more often than we do.
