I rarely post a photo with me on it. This one was taken by my wife with her iPhone X while on vacation in Hawaii. I chose to post it as part of the photo legend series. Why? Because it shows me while doing something that I really love: doing photography while on a trip.... Continue Reading →
Continuing my photo legend series, here is my newest one titled: "Life". We made a small weekend trip last week at the Von Trapp Family lodge in Vermont, US to meet our American friends from Denver, CO. While walking with them, I had this instant love affair with this flower that was just waiting for... Continue Reading →
My view at the top This is my first bike ride to the mountain just at the center of Montreal city. It is called Mount Royal. Very popular tourist attraction. I'm trying to do this ride each weekend. This is an 18 km ride back and forth from my home. I love this place. This... Continue Reading →

Untouched photo taken with my iPhone 7 during a walk. It came to me that spring is finally coming. Timidly. This past winter was hard on us. Spring showing signs of life is refreshing. I like the time of the year where leafs are light green, new, young.

Surveillance state is what comes to my mind at the time of the photo. I was standing there in the middle of the metro station. Looking up and seeing this kind of big eye looking at me, I had this idea. I chose to oppose this by pointing my own camera to this dangling thing.... Continue Reading →
Here is my newest addition to my photo legend series. They were all waiting for the train. Looking at something. I was fascinated by this lonely guy reading a newspaper. We don't see that often these days. It is not always easy to get the right pictures with a lot of humans. I took about... Continue Reading →
During a recent urbex session with friends we were exploring an abandoned church. In one of the room in the priest's house next to the church, there was this table right in the middle of the place with lots of left overs. It was clear to me that this place was frequently visited by people... Continue Reading →
Last week-end I did a photo walk down town Montreal, inside the metro station network. We had three stations to visit and three themes: shadows, slowness and architecture. This one fits the shadow theme. They aren't always obvious like people shadows would be but I thought the contrast with the illuminated ad was interesting.
