This weekend, I will spend time with my family to say a proper farewell to my father, who passed away earlier this year. This gathering will provide much-needed closure, which has been delayed due to COVID and social distancing rules. Now that those restrictions are mostly behind us, we can come together to say our final goodbye to my dear father. For this occasion, I wrote a short speech, and a friend reviewed it. He said my text is spot on, and I hope others feel the same way.
