Apple introduced iPadOS at this year’s WWDC conference. This could be seen as a marketing move but I think Apple really wants to fork iOS to provide a unique experience on their tablets. But, here is an alert that I received on my iPad about location tracking, un new feature in iOS 13.
The screenshot has been truncated for a better fit here. This alert shows an application that is constantly tracking my locations for its own use. In this case, Dayone is the application that tracks my location for the journaling feature which is fine with me. But this dialog box comes from the iPhone and is really looking cramped on the iPad. This is an area where iPadOS will need to expand support of all the screen space available. Meanwhile, these dialog boxes just look a bit stupid on big devices and are not providing the best map viewing experience.
